Welcome to Dogwood Holler Cabin. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe and enjoyable environment to stay in while keeping our pricing affordable. We realize that you have choices and we want to make your stay with us a memorable experience so that you will stay with us again and recommend us to your friends and family.  Keep in mind that this property is privately owned and there are residential areas and other cabins in the area. We ask that you respect your neighbors and maintain noise levels to acceptable limits. We live on the property and are available in the event we are needed.  We ask that you read the policies below prior to your arrival. Relax and enjoy your stay.

POLICIES:

​

Guest Privacy Policy: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. Registered guest who may have other guest staying or visiting them are responsible for providing driving directions and entry codes. We will not provide this information to anyone other than the person/persons listed on the reservation. We will also not confirm the names of registered guest to anyone other than the person who is listed on the reservation

.

Minimum Stays: A 2 night minimum stay is required on  reservations. A 3 night stay is required for Federal Recognized Holidays, Christmas and Thanksgiving week, July 4th week and Spring Break. We do not allow one-night stays

Driving Directions:  Detailed driving directions have been provided on the website.  Please print them out and even though GPS generally finds our location, be aware that it may not.

​

Check In/Out: Check in is at our residence located at the first gate.  Check in is 3:00 PM or later, on the day of arrival. Check out will be no later than 11:00 AM. Checking out after 11:00 AM may be subject to additional charges. Entry to the cabin is not permitted until cleaning staff has finished and left the property. In order to provide clean and comfortable accommodations these times must remain firm so that our staff can clean the properties. When checking out please do not leave dirty dishes and remove all personal items from refrigerator. Please do not move furniture. Replacing furniture back to original location may result in additional charges.

Rates: The nightly rate is listed above.  The rate is based on number of guests the cabin will accommodate comfortably.  Our cabin accommodates 4 guests comfortably, but if children, we can accommodate up to 5.  Overcrowding of cabins can result in additional charges per person per night and or cancellation of reservation.  NO house parties are allowed.  All guests must be registered.

Firewood & Campfires:  The cabin has a supply of firewood for the firepit.  If firewood is needed for the fireplace, please contact us for the proper type of wood.  Please note that it is against the law to leave campfires unattended.  During times high fire danger we will notify guest by signage inside of cabin of outside fire bans imposed by the State of Oklahoma. Please do not forage for firewood or cut trees around cabins. If trees are cut down or damaged a replacement charge will be added to your stay.

Quiet Hours: Cabins are to avoid playing excessively loud music outdoors at any time during your stay. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M. During the quiet hours loud noises such as shouting, screaming, or playing loud music outside are prohibited by development covenants. Please help us enjoy your stay as much as your neighbor wants to enjoy their stay.

Restocking of Supplies: We supply all our guest with ample supplies of paper goods and washing detergents. If additional supplies are needed request made prior to 5:00 P.M. will be filled same day. Request made after 5:00 will be delivered the next morning.

TV’s: Prior to your arrival we inspect each cabin and turn on TV’s to ensure they are on correct settings. The Cabin had local cable service. If TV settings or connections are tampered with and TV is not working properly we will try to correct the settings as soon as possible.

Forms of Payment:  Forms of payment accepted are check or cash only.  Name on reservation must be the same name on the check.  If paying by check, 50% of reservation must be received 7 days prior to your reservation and balance upon check-in.  If paying by cash, payment is to be made upon your arrival and before proceeding to cabin.  Please inform us of this this payment so discount can be applied.  A credit card must be listed on file in order to hold your reservation.  No charges will be made on your credit card unless you do not cancel your reservation or incur additional charges (as listed below).

Check In/Check Out:  Check In must be completed at our residence prior to proceeding to cabin. Check out is a self check out prior to 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Please leave the property neat and orderly upon leaving. Directions on how to leave cabin are posted on the refrigerator and given to you upon check in. Cabins left extremely messy will be subject of excessive cleaning fees up to $100.00. If damages occur there will also be charges to cover up to the full amount of repairing damages.

Pets:  Absolutely no pets.  Failure to observe this restriction will result in fees being applied up to the rate of $100.00 per day or immediate eviction without refund.

Missing Items/Damages or Items Left Behind: Missing items or damages will be charged to guest account. Personal items left behind will be mailed to customer with a minimum fee of $25.00 to cover shipping and handling charges.

Tents and RV’s: Guests may not utilize tents or RV’s anywhere on the property.

​

Fireworks and Loud Noises: Shooting of fireworks are not permitted on the property. Loud noises such as shooting of guns and playing loud music outside are not permitted on the properties. Violation of these policies may subject property guest to immediate eviction from property without refund of reservation fees.

​

Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside of cabin. You may smoke inside the screened porch. Please do not leave butts on the grounds. Smoking in a cabin will incur a minimum $500.00 cleaning fee plus any cost associated with accommodating future guest stays in the cabin due to smoke smell. We enforce this policy strictly.

Trash: Please secure trash by placing it inside the container on the back porch, not outside. There are critters in the area that will scatter your trash.  Please do not clean fish on property.

​

Privacy Policy: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you make a reservation on our site. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

​

Property Electronic Equipment:   A $100 fee will be imposed for tampering with electronic equipment that causes a service call. Do not unhook, disconnect any electronic equipment for video games or other devices. Video games may be connected to available HDMI slots only. Housekeeping will check electronics before arrival to ensure they are in working order.

​

* Wildlife Encounters: Due to the location of our cabins in forested areas, there is a chance guests will encounter some type of wildlife, insects or stray animals. Our cabin is treated on a scheduled basis for interior pests, but due to the natural habitation of the forest, no refunds or compensation will be given for any problems resulting from pests inside or outside the cabin. Do not feed animals you may see around the cabin nor permit them to enter the cabin. Do not allow children to play with, pet or feed stray animals. We are not responsible for any wildlife or animal encounters of any kind not are we responsible for medical bills resulting from injuries resulting from encounters with wildlife or stray animals.

Liability:   All outdoor activities involve certain inherent risk of injury up to and including death. Every effort will be made to secure and make safe all facilities under our management. It is expressly understood and agreed that neither the owner, nor the management company of said premises, shall be liable for any damages or injury to guest, guest’s guests or their families, or to any of owners property from whatever cause arising from the occupancy or use of the premises by guests and their family and guests. Neither the owners or Dogwood Holler Cabin, shall be held liable or responsible for any violation of these terms.
